- To understand the fundamental notions of consumers in the market place: How consumers see the world and how they understand themselves.

- To apply relevant theories related to consumer buying behavior.

This course covers the basics of consumer behavior such as consumer attitudes, memory, individual decision making, social groups and other similar topics.

Through several lectures and workshops students will get familiarized with key concepts and theories related to consumer behavior. In applied part of the course, the students will make use of fundamental marketing research tools to analyze consumers in market. Thus, this course offers the students the possibility to put their knowledge in practice by doing real market research.
