Aims 

After completing the course, students will be able to:
1. Identify and evaluate the different forms of growth and growth potential
2. Evaluate the strategies of business acceleration and business scaling-up
3. Asses, plan and apply business models for growth
4. Compare and assess strategies for business development and scaling-up
5. Analyze and apply the models and theories of business growth
6. Manage and organize the business model innovation process
7. Create and communicate the business growth strategy for stakeholders

 
Contents 

The course introduces students to business growth. Growth models, theories and approaches on business growth are discussed on the course. Also contemporary issues of business growth like business acceleration, growth strategy, start-up business models, scaling-up and SME development are introduced and linked to existing business cases.

 
Teaching Methods 

Lectures 18 h, 2nd period. Prior reading and assignments 112 h, essay writing 30 h. Total workload 160 h.
