Students will start with the mentoring and writing of a learning diary well before the lecture part of the course.

Aims 

Successful completion of the course implies that the students will be able to:

 - Identify, assess and reflect on one’s past experiences, learning and current know-how for visioning entrepreneurial opportunities and setting goals for the future
- Familiarize with, analyze and understand the importance of one’s own (business) networks for entrepreneurial opportunities and personal reflection
- Analyze and describe the central developments of some (un)successful entrepreneurs and enterprises in today’s global and turbulent business environment
- Improve argumentation and presentation skills in getting across different kinds of business cases
- Improve real-world problem solving abilities and international competence.

 
Contents 

- Personal and entrepreneurial SWOT
- Identification, assessment and reflection on one’s past experiences, learning and current knowhow for visioning entrepreneurial opportunities and setting goals for the future
- Case studies on (un)successful entrepreneurs and enterprises in today’s global and turbulent business environment
- Mentoring meetings with experienced entrepreneurs
- Networks as gateways for entrepreneurial growth both in firm and individual level
