Aims 

Upon completion of the module, the student has the following competencies:
- can implement water purification process simulations
- can implement hydrometallurgical process simulations
- knows how to utilize process data measurements for justifying simulated material and energy balances.
- can set-up data comparison between simulated data and measured process data.
- can use statistical data analytics or machine learning tools for process trouble-shooting, and analysis of critical process parameters.

 
Contents 

Process simulation applications, process data balancing, statistical data analytic tools in process monitoring.
