- Understand the basics of sustainable development sustainability challenges and sustainable use of resources
- Understand the environmental challenges in in relation to the product design
- Recognize the effect of design characteristics on customer’s behavior and their lifestyle
- Recognize efficient management of time and resources
- Describe the impact of design process and related decisions on daily behavior of users and customers
- Understand sustainable innovation and strategies for having competitive design advantages
- Recognize the methods and frameworks to affect the behavior of customers through sustainable design
