Aims 

After the course student can define the role of innovation systems and their features. He/she understands the operation of national, sectoral and regional systems and their special essence. He/she can apply the learned knowledge in designing innovation policies and strategies. He/she can also analyze co-operation and participation in the innovation systems.

 
Contents 

On the basic competence level the student understands leadership, learning, networking, creativity, social capital and dynamic capabilities in innovation systems and innovation networks. He/she can define the different models of innovation and their impacts in innovation policies. On the further competence level is introduced the special features of practice-based, networked innovation processes and promoting creativity in innovation processes.

 
Teaching Methods 

Lectures 12 h, network exercise 8 h, seminar work 40 h. Preparation for exam and exam 60h. Exam. Total 120 h.
