Aims 

After completion of the course, students will be able to
1. Explain and analyze impacts of digitalization in organizations and more widely as well as assess changes and needs for skills
2. Distinguish challenges of user-drivenness and co-creation in innovation activities of the digital age
3. Apply different tools and practices of user-drivenness and co-creationin innovation activities of the digital age.

 
Contents 

Impacts of digitalization on different levels in organizations and their operational environments from a systemic perspective, impact assessment, new needs for skills and management, user-driven innovation activities and co-creation in the digital age (methods and consideration of human cognitive functions) and presentation of cases from different fields.

 
Teaching Methods 

Lectures (intensive teaching) 10 h, two group assignments 35 h, individual case exercise 70 h, seminar 8 h, independent and/or group studies 33 h. Total workload 156 h.
