Aims 

After completion of the course students will be able to:

  • analyze and evaluate systematically and analytically decision problems
  • have deep knowledge and understanding of decision theories and utilize these theories and different methods in decision making.
 
Contents 

Concentrates on systematical decision making and how to support business decisions.
Decision making process, decision analysis, analytic hierarchy process, group decision support systems, techniques to support teams, system dynamics in decision making, business intelligence, data visualization.

 
Teaching Methods 

Lectures 12 h, exercises 10 h, 1. period.
Lectures 12 h, excercises 10 h, 2. period.
Seminars 6 h, intensive week after 2nd period
Seminar report 1-2. period (45 h), examination (40 h), optional exercise reports (15 h), articles (15 h). Total workload 165 h.
